On February 23, 2025, the FABA Foundation participated in the 5th edition of the Ulysse Djerba Half Marathon, an event that gathered 1,727 runners, thus confirming its appeal and its central role in promoting sports, tourism, and sustainable development in Djerba. The FABA Foundation, dedicated to improving health and well-being in Tunisia, saw this event as an opportunity to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle. Our participation reflects our commitment to a fitter, more supportive, and innovative Tunisia. We congratulate the organizers for the success of this edition and thank all the participants for their enthusiasm. Together, let's continue to promote health and well-being through such initiatives.
Launch of the 2nd edition of the FABA Health Grant
A Symbolic Date for a Lasting Commitment

The ABA Foundation is proud and moved to officially announce the launch of the 2nd edition of the FABA Health Endowment, an initiative designed to support innovative projects in the fields of health, research, and access to care.
The date of March 23 was not chosen at random.
It pays tribute to the late Amina Ben Ayed, wife of the founder Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed, born on March 23. A woman of science and compassion, she dedicated her life to research, notably in the first avian disease detection laboratory in Tunisia.
A discreet yet determined pioneer, she worked with rigor and passion for animal health—closely linked to public health issues.
Through this endowment, the ABA Foundation continues its commitment to meaningful innovation and long-term impact, inspired by the values embodied by Mrs. Amina Ben Ayed: scientific rigor, humanity, and dedication to the common good.
The FABA Health Endowment will support high-impact projects in the following areas:
• Medical and biotechnological innovation.
• Applied research serving the patient.
• Equitable access to healthcare.
• Sustainable solutions for the health systems of tomorrow.

The Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed Foundation (FABA) warmly congratulates the winners 🏆 selected as part of the TACir project, which is part of the Créathon incubation program in Tunis #1 – TACir CREA INNOV #1 Cohort. These exceptional projects, led by young talents brimming with creativity, benefited from 12 months of support from TACir. Their remarkable work was rewarded with cash prizes of 5,000 TND each, offered by the FABA Foundation - Abdelwaheb Ben Ayed Foundation and MicroCred.
